If you try to change the SlingStudio hotspot password when you're configuring your SlingStudio unit, you may find that you can't connect to the SlingStudio hotspot with your Mac computer. Or you may find that your Mac computer tries to connect to the SlingStudio hotspot automatically, but cannot.
If you're experiencing this problem, make sure that you have the latest version of the SlingStudio Console app for your Apple iPad or Apple Mac computer. This problem has been addressed in recent Console app updates.
However, if you're still having this problem, even after making sure that you're working with the latest SlingStudio Console app, then please follow the steps below.
In these cases, the problem can often be that the old password is still being used by your Mac computer's operating system software, which has provisions to store hotspot passwords for you.
