The SlingStudio enclosure features several LED indicators that reflect the device’s status.
Here is what the LED indications mean:
Top LED band behavior | Meaning |
Off | Powered off |
Blue, blinking | Starting up |
Blue, glowing steadily | Ready |
Orange, blinking | Starting up in Reset Mode |
Orange, glowing steadily | Ready in Reset Mode |
INTERNET LED behavior (located below the power button)* | Meaning |
Green, glowing steadily | Connected to the local network and the Internet, either via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable. |
Amber, glowing steadily | Connected to the local network only, either via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable. Not connected to the Internet, so streaming can’t take place. |
Off | Not connected to local network. |
* IMPORTANT: The INTERNET LED is used only for video streaming; it has nothing to do with the SlingStudio hotspot.
REC (“Recording”) LED behavior (located below power the switch) | Meaning |
Red, glowing steadily | Recording in progress |
Amber, blinking | Recording, but with errors and/or warnings |
